WaterSafe appoints new Chair

WaterSafe is delighted to welcome Mark Hodgens as its new Chair. Mark brings with him extensive leadership and commercial experience from international companies including Novar, Grundfos (the wold’s leading pump manufacturer) and Talis, a supplier of water company products and services such as valves, house connection and boundary boxes.

Mark joins WaterSafe at a pivotal time for the water sector, bringing a fresh perspective and a strong commitment to member value and advocacy.

Mark shared his motivation for joining WaterSafe, a not-for-profit organisation, explaining,

I recently completed a major project as chief executive with Talis, which involved selling the company and its subsidiaries around the world. After that, I found myself thinking, 'What do I do now?' I decided it was time to give something back.
