WaterSafe Launches Facebook Page

WaterSafe has launched a new Facebook page to make it easier for households across the UK to find a skilled and approved plumber local to them.

This page, located at facebook.com/WaterSafeRegister, contains useful information for households and businesses looking for a trusted plumber and advice on how to keep their drinking water supplies fresh and healthy.

It also provides a central point for WaterSafe plumbing businesses to keep up to date with the latest industry news and updates.

WaterSafe provides a free online postcode search on its website at watersafe.org.uk, which customers can use to find a skilled local plumber.

Julie Spinks, Director of WaterSafe, said: “We have carried out research in the past which shows how unqualified plumbers can cause thousands of pounds worth of damage and put the safety of drinking water at risk in homes and workplaces.

“So, we are expanding our reach to make it as easy and accessible as possible for everyone to have free access to our register of approved and qualified plumbers, which is not only backed by the Government but by all the water companies which supply drinking water in the UK.”
