WaterSafe Supports Water Saving Week 2017

WaterSafe has once again joined forces with Waterwise and UK water companies to help promote water efficiency during a week-long national campaign.

Water Saving Week runs from 20- 24 March 2017 and will see five themes across the week, all with daily challenges and water saving tips.

The interactive campaign aims to raise awareness about how easy it is for everyone to use water wisely - whether it’s at school, in the workplace, at home, in local communities, or the garden.

Julie Spinks, Director of WaterSafe, said: “WaterSafe approved plumbers have the expertise to help homes and businesses become more water efficient. Around one third of the water each person uses on a daily basis is wasted, so potentially there are significant savings to be made.”
