Why is my toilet filling slowly?

A toilet that fills slowly after flushing may be caused by a problem with the cistern's fill valve, low water pressure or a restriction in the water supply. While the toilet may still function, the issue can become worse over time.

Some toilet cisterns incorporate a delayed fill function as part of their design, so if you are noticing this it might be worth checking with the manufacturer first.
