The week runs each October to shine a spotlight on plumbing businesses which play a vital part in our communities.
The most recent event saw APHC crown seven winners, four of which are WaterSafe members:
For going above and beyond to support their local community, including donating up to £25,000 to local community projects each year.
For completing exceptional work throughout the year and working through challenges whilst maintaining high standards and high-quality work.
For actively embracing technology advancements within his business and using technology to improve customer service, increase efficiency, become more eco-friendly and grow his business.
For demonstrating an outstanding commitment to promoting diversity, equality and inclusion within the workplace.

APHC developed Quality Plumber Week as a way of uniting the industry to champion the invaluable and highly skilled work of plumbing and heating contractors and to celebrate the achievements of installers who go above and beyond with their commitment to high standards of workmanship.
The Quality Plumber Week Awards complement APHC’s role as a WaterSafe founding members and highlights itsrole in representing and promoting quality, approved plumbers and contractors.
John Thompson, CEO of APHC said “There are thousands of excellent plumbers working throughout England and Wales, who provide exceptional service and advice to homes and businesses. On behalf of not only our members, but also every hardworking plumber, we want to recognise the skills and work they do.
“Being recognised in these awards is testament to the hard work and dedication of our members, and I’m pleased to see that most of them are WaterSafe members too, demonstrating their knowledge of the crucial water regulations.”
Applications for the 2024 awards will open this autumn - so keep an eye on APHC’s social media channels for an announcement later this year.
