As England’s lockdown continues, national plumbing register WaterSafe is partnering with the Met Office to encourage homeowners to use their time at home to get their plumbing ready for winter.
What are the measures customers most want to see from their plumber, or other tradespeople, to help them feel safe when having work done during the pandemic? WaterSafe, the UK register of approved plumbers, found the top priorities for UK homeowners.
Many owners and managers of buildings including public buildings such as schools, hospitals and care homes, are not aware of their legal duties to protect public health when it comes to plumbing.
To help out, WaterSafe, the plumber approval body supported by the UK water suppliers, has produced a short film to make it easier for everyone to understand what is required in England and Wales.
